Union Jack Cushions

We all got very patriotic this year with the Olympics being here in the UK. It went wonderfully and we had nothing to be worried about. I made these beautiful cushions with some heavy weight cotton really enjoyed making them, although think I need more practice with putting trims in the cushions, I wasn't very happy with my efforts. They are very basic though with an envelope closing, so easy. My hubby pinched the plain cushion for his den and wouldn't mind another. This is indeed praise and I'll take it lol. Dawn xx

Vintage Beauty

This was the bargain of my crafting life (I have had many of these lol) £20 this cost and it works! But I don't use it often. It's more of  'I Love you and I want to look at you all the time' purchase, in fact I have lots of material like that lol. Hope you enjoyed sharing in my joy of this vintage find. Dxx

Crochet like your granny?

This year I learn't to crochet and I love it lots, it's much easier to learn than knitting, and look at all these squares already? The book you can see is really good and it's all granny square patterns inside. Still not sure what I'm going to make with them, maybe a blanket. Dxx
